A murder after rejection

 Once upon a time, there was a young man who had a huge crush on a beautiful woman. He had been dreaming of her for a long time and finally mustered the courage to ask her out. But to his dismay, she rejected him. He was heartbroken and couldn't bear the humiliation.

In a fit of rage, he decided to take revenge. He followed the girl home one night and hid in the shadows outside her house. When she came out, he attacked her and killed her in cold blood.

The young man was arrested and sent to prison for life. He never got over the rejection, and the memory of that day haunted him for the rest of his life.
